I’m Charles Murphy reporting. A double stabbing in Belglade. Two arrests have been made. Andrika Eddy of Cluiston is facing criminal conspiracy, first-degree murder, and burglary with an assault or battery. Kayla Britton is facing the same charges. She’s from Belglade. The two had an issue with one of the victims, Princess Isaac, and went to an apartment in Belglade. Britton allegedly produced pepper spray, spraying one of the victims, Rakesha Lee, in her eyes, which prevented Lee from effectively fighting off her attacker. Lee was stabbed several times. And Princess Isaac arrived to help, but also was stabbed in the chest multiple times. At last report, Isaac was unconscious and in critical condition at a local hospital. A traffic crash in U.S. 27 involving a tow truck in South Bay, claiming that tow truck operator’s life. The Florida Highway Patrol’s 54-year-old Terrence Martin of Stewart was southbound in the tow truck when he somehow failed to negotiate a curve and went out of control. He struck two large palm trees, and the impact caused the flatbed tow truck to rotate violently. The flat metal deck sheared off of the tow truck, skipped approximately 170 feet through a residential yard, and into the property of Moss Towing, where the deck bed struck a parked trailer loaded with steel. Martin died at the scene. A LaBelle woman is accused of driving the wrong way on I-75 early Sunday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol used a pit maneuver to stop her at mile marker 143. She had a blood alcohol allegedly of 0.161, the suspect identified as Anna Areola of LaBelle. LaBelle City Commission will hold a grand opening of Foray Park on June 27th. This coming weekend, it all starts at 9 a.m. A Lakeport man, Donald Curry, is facing charges of burglary to an occupied dwelling and cyber-stalking Glades County deputies. Say Curry was trespassed from her residence in Lakeport but continued to show up there and entered her home without invitation, permission, or consent. The victim was also in the process of getting an injunction against the suspect. Henry County Finest, serving a search warrant with a SWAT team making a drug arrest, 35-year-old Crystal Agosto is facing charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child neglect. The SWAT team entered the residence and found eight individuals inside, including five children. During the search, investigators say they found numerous metal grinders and drug paraphernalia, a plastic bag of methamphetamine weighing just under a gram, three plastic bags of fentanyl weighing 1.8 grams, a small amount of cocaine, and $237 in suspected drug cash. Palm Beach deputies investigating a shooting at 160 SW 7th Avenue in South Bay. They called it an aggravated battery. The victim was Rekisha Lee. They do have a suspect but have not made any arrests. Another shooting under investigation at 121 SW 10th Avenue in Belle Glade, this also on June 17th. Again, another aggravated battery with a deadly weapon charge and the victim was identified as Jeremiah Dukes. I’m Charles Murphy, WAFC News.
