7 on 7 Coming to Cane Field
Two former NFL players teamed up with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to give back to children. Pierre Garcon, who played for the Indianapolis Colts, and Eric Green, formerly of the Arizona Cardinals, helped Santa out by shopping for Christmas gifts on Thursday for the children of Belle Glade, South Bay and Pahokee. The players shopped with deputies and later delivered the toys to Belle Glade City Hall. But that’s not all Green has been up to this holiday season. The CHS football coach, along with other former NFL players and famous names, will host a 7 on 7 tournament in an old school vs new school battle. Green says he wants the veteran players to show the current players what it’s all about. The game will be this Thursday December 23 at 5pm at Cane Field.
