Christopher Bell secured his second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series win by taking the checkered flag at the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). After passing Kyle Busch for the lead and holding off defending race winner William Byron, Bell crossed the finish line 0.433 seconds ahead of Byron to claim his first career victory at the Texas road course.

Bell’s No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota had fresher tires in the final laps, allowing him to take the lead on Lap 90 and maintain control to the finish. Pole winner Tyler Reddick finished third, while Chase Elliott made an impressive comeback from an early race incident to place fourth. Busch, who led a race-high 42 laps, fell to fifth after a late-race battle with Bell.

The race saw dramatic moments, including Connor Zilisch’s Cup Series debut ending in a crash with teammate Daniel Suárez, as well as Elliott’s recovery from an early spin to finish strong. Post-race inspections confirmed Bell’s victory, with NASCAR officials sending two cars for further review at their Research & Development Center.

Next up, the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Phoenix Raceway for the Shriners Children’s 500 on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET. Stay tuned to Pure Country WAFC for the Race! 🚗🏁
