The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is informing the public about another scam the is circulating. So there is an imposter calling people and claiming to be a deputy (Major Eric Coleman) from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and telling them that a member of their family has a warrant for their arrest.  The imposter claims to be able to cancel the warrant if he is paid.  The fake deputy then threatens to send another deputy to the resident’s home to affect an arrest if he/she does not comply.  This is a scam!  PBSO employees do not call for money or personal information.  If you receive a call like this or any other scam hang up and call 911.
